Thank you SISTAHS for embracing the idea of expressing ourselves on various issues. As this new day dawns and as we move on through our daily routine another matter has come into view. Its a matter of the heart! Sistuhs can we talk? Can you explain "WHAT'S LOVE GOT TO DO WITH IT"? Let's hear your thoughts on the matter...

ReplyDeleteGOD=LOVE we as christians must love even when the flesh says otherwise .. i have to get to heaven and LOVE is a main ingredient for me to enter .. so i will be looking to see from my sistuhs the meaning of "whats love got to do with it" God Bless ... ... Val McGert aka Destinlovz
Good Morning my SISTUHS! Good Morning Destinlovz and thank you for leading us to a great start on the topic of the day! Love has everything to do with it. The bible states the merit of having several good characteristics and brings it all together to let us know that without 'LOVE',it means nothing. The more I grow in HIM and the older I get, I realize that LOVE is the glue that holds our minds and soul together. Let alone our view of situational matters. LOVE will cause us to change our attitudes when we hear that we've been ridiculed or talked about, LOVE is what causes us to turn the other cheek, LOVE is what prompts us to care about someone else dilemma when we've got one of our own, and LOVE is what keeps us quiet in a confusing storm/situation when we know we can deal with it and got something we wanna say! What is this LOVE all about? It's born from the LOVE that our God had for us, when He allowed His son to die on calvary...just for us! It's the LOVE and respect and reverance we have for our Father in heaven and we want to give HIM our best and respresent HIM well. After all, LOVE is our provider, LOVE is our sustainer, LOVE is our keeper and by grace LOVE woke us up this morning and breathed into our nostrils the precious gift of life one more time. So when you greet your sister/brothers on this day and days to come, it would be appropriate to say "Hi LOVE", for truly LOVE has everything to do with it! Have a blessed day 'LOVES'!

Strange as it sound at one time in my life love had nothing to do with it until I found Jesus. I was cold hearted, mean, self center, and did not care about people feelings. My thing in life at one time was I'm going to get you before you got me. You hurt me I'm going to hurt you, you don't care I don't care until one day I found myself all alone and empty. I didn't love me and I felt no one was ever going to love me until Jesus open my eyes and I found out there's was no greater love but his. He change my whole life with his grace and mercy and now I'm humble,at peace, I have joy and he gives me so much knowledge and wisdom. He gives me love when I know someone hates me and talk behind my back. He is an awesome God and now I do know love matters because its Jesus love I'm sharing.
ReplyDeleteTonya that is so beautiful! And I can relate to every word you said. When you come into the knowledge of Jesus Christ, then and only then is when you experience real love and everything that comes with it. Relationships past and present will cause us to go into defense mode and build a wall around ourselves, often times locking out those that deserve to be let in. I too had a 'get cha back' attitude, but then when I got closer to the Lord,I became more spiritually conscious and began to listen to what I was being taught. Let the Lord do the work. You know it puzzles the enemy when we as a loving christian can turn and walk away. I can guarantee that when you allow God to truly work in your life, you can sit back and enjoy what He has done! There is a peace like no other, and you don't have to fight because the battle is not yours anyway...it's the Lord's. Who but God can put love in your heart for those who have done you wrong. I thank Him for teaching me, and for His patience with me throughout the transition. Yes, my Sistuh, love has a lot to do with it, and its that precious, ever-present, pure and anointed love of Jesus Christ. Thank you my Sistah for that affirmation!
ReplyDeleteLove has everything to do with it, love conquers all. The All to be patient, the All to be kind,The All to endure, the All to forgive, the All to apologize, the All to give your right for someones wrong, the All to hold it down even when you are wounded, the All to Love yourself whether feeling happy or sad,but most of ALL love gives you a inner peace that shines so brightly ...ladies I had to learn to love myself all over again and what a beautiful ..beautiful experience it is!
ReplyDeleteTwinkle, girl you are awesome! Learning to love yourself is such a wonderful move toward spiritual peace! As I read your post my heart became full, because there are still so many of us SISTUHS that have not embraced ourselves for the princesses that we are. We still have voids in our lives that can so easily be filled with the peace and tranquility that the Lord provides. I want to thank you so much for joining in and sharing. Our topic today has definitely yielded some thought provoking nuggets of wisdom and my prayer is that as we continue, we will be a blessing to someone else. I love you my SISTUH and welcome aboard!

LOVE has EVERYTHING to do with it. The problem is, we tend to LOVE the wrong things and that is where our problem begins.
