SISTUHS: Can We Talk? Prayer~Do You or Can You Pray and Not Worry?

  1. My SISTUHS! This is definitely a topic worth visiting. Because of the current state of economic affairs that most of have faced or are now facing we tend to go into worry mode.I can be honest with you and admit that I have been guilty of worrying about my situations. But when I begin to think of what God has done for me in the past and how He bought me out and made a way out of no way, I gather myself and shake off that worry. Then I repent and apologize to God for worrying. Because God made me some promises and I know those are words that I can bank on. I wrote my affirmation before and posted it, but it would not come up. What was that all about? Am I not supposed to talk or share with my sistuhs on this subject? Am I to be silent on the matter? I am compelled to share the good news that prayer is the key to our current situations, it is the catalyst that props us up and moves us to higher heights in Christ Jesus, it is what gives us hope and blesses us to face whatever we come up against. Prayer Still Works! Believe and receive my dear sistahs, in Jesus' name!

  2. You are right Sis. prayer is the key and the source of my sanity (lol). I have learned that when you go to God in prayer with your whole heart and trust and believe that he will grant you the desires of your heart, it's All Good! I like the motto "don't worry be happy" there is a blessing in the storm. It doesn't seem that way at the time, but thank God anyway in advance and He will not only provide comfort he will fulfill our needs according to his will. Believing and knowing for myself makes things so much easier and gives me reason not to worry in economic times like this.
    Absolutely, Prayer still works!!

  3. Praise God gmf22_80!!! And thank you for that affirmation of faith. Yes Lord, to know for yourself is an awesome place to be in. Pray, believe it and wait on God. There is no peace than the peace of God. I remember when the mothers of the church used to get up and testify that they thank God for waking them up in their right mind. It seemed cliche back then, but the more I grow, the more I know. Those women talked about God in such a way that you could envision Him walking beside them everyday. That was some faith and so it is today. I heard someone say that there was no recession with the people of God, and I believe that! God said that He will supply our needs according to His riches in glory. How awesome is that?! We've got everything we need in Christ Jesus! Thank you my SISTUH! We needed that!
    Peace and Blessings!
